Remove bandage after no more than two hours.
WASH HANDS
Then gently wash tattoo with antibacterial soap and warm water.
Next, pat dry and then apply a thin layer of aquaphor or other tattoo aftercare product 3 times daily for 3-5 days.
Use a lotion with no dyes or fragrance until completely healed.
DO NOT:
Pick, scratch, leave tattoo in direct sunlight or submerge your tattoo in any chlorinated or open bodies of water.
At any sign of infection immedaitely seek medical attention.
Wash your hand throughly prior to cleaning or touching your piercing for any reason.
Saline soak for five to ten minutes once or more per day.
Invert a cup of warm saline solution over the area to form a vacuum.
For certain piercings it may be easier to apply using clean gauze or paper towels saturated with saline solution.
If your piercer suggests usings soap, gently lather around the piercing and rinse as needed.
Avoid using harsh soaps, or soaps with dyes, fragrances, or triclosan.
Rinse thoroughly to remove all traces of the soap from the piercing. It is not necessary to rotate the jewelry through the piercing.
Dry by gently patting with clean, disposable paper products. Cloth towels cant harbor bacteria and snag on jewelry, causing injury.
